On the finale of The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights, we saw James McSweeney grab a third-round TKO win over Darrill Schoonover, granting the British fighter his first win inside the UFC. Since then, it's been somewhat of a tumultuous journey for McSweeney, he lost his first 2 fights outside the ufc against decorated grapplers in Ricco Rodroguez and Fransico France.
He then took some time off to get his ground game in order and since then has been 7-1 his past 8 fights, with 4 of those coming by way of submission, he has left colorado and moved to Las Vegas, where he now trains under Robert Drysdale for bjj and working with Kit Cope and Ray Sefo for his striking, and all these guys so far have spoke very highly of james.
While he looks to get back to UFC, he is also looking to get a fight in ONEFC with Renato "Babalu" Sobral, he has thrown other names around like Manhoef and Arlovski, but Babalu is the main fight he is pushing for.
