Hector Lombard was expected to make a big splash in his Octagon debut against Tim Boetsch in the co-main event of UFC 149: "Faber vs. Barao" last night (Sat., July 21, 2012) at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Instead, he underwhelmed to the point of completely killing UFC President Dana White's enthusiasm for the middleweight division. In fact, White refused to reveal any future plans for the 185-pound weight class and didn't name a number one contender to Anderson Silva's title. It was revealed at the post-fight press conference that Boetsch may have broken his foot during the Lombard fight, so that changes things around too. Stay tuned on that front.
