I thought this guy was supposed to be boring?
Ryan Jimmo, a light heavyweight who made his name under the Maximum Fighting Championship (MFC) banner, made his debut inside the Octagon at tonight's (Sat., July 21, 2012) UFC 149: "Faber vs. Barao" event at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, against Anthony Perosh.
And Jimmo knocked him out in seven seconds.
The big knock on "Big Deal" has long been his propensity to cure fight fans of their insomnia. Maybe that was a fair assessment, too, but for now, he gets to hold his head high and stick his nose out at all the haters who expected a far worse performance than the one he turned in tonight.
As Mike Goldberg repeated for the 678th time ... "How good was that?"
