To many UFC fans, Hector Lombard is an enigma.
The former Cuban Olympic judo practitioner enters his UFC 149 debut bout this Saturday night (July 21, 2012) against Tim Boetsch with a huge wave of hype following a 25 fight unbeaten streak which includes a run as the Bellator middleweight champion for nearly three years.
The extremely powerful and compact knockout artist has dreams of fighting for the UFC middleweight title against Anderson Silva, but first he's got to introduce himself.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship has put together a very interesting and revealing piece on "Shango" which delves into his past, his struggles to fit in and why he feels the cage is his home.
Check out the video after the jump and tell us what you think:
Do you think Tim Boetsch has a chance?
