Countdown to UFC 149 full video for 'Faber vs Barao' on July 21 in Calgary

Countdown to UFC 149: "Faber vs. Barao" went down last night (July 17, 2012) on FUEL TV to help promote the upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for July 21 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The network special gave mixed martial arts (MMA) fans a glimpse into the preparation and training camps of the fighters set to headline the show, featuring former World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber taking on top up-and-coming prospect Renan Barao for the promotion's Interim Bantamweight Championship.

Someone walks out of "Cow Tow" with the gold thanks to a recent injury to Dominick Cruz.

UFC 149 will also feature the highly-anticipated debut of Bellator import Hector Lombard as he tangles with the venerable Tim Boetsch while Cheick Kongo looks to get back into the heavyweight title hunt against the hard-hitting Shawn Jordan.

Parts two and three of "Countdown to UFC 149" featuring their segments, after the jump.
