Liz Carmouche video blog for Kaitlin Young fight at Invicta FC 2 (Episode 1)

The girls are back in town.

Invicta Fighting Championship will be kicking off its second effort later this month, live from Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kan., on Sat., July 28, 2012, featuring a main event between 2004 Olympic Wrestling Silver Medalist Sara McMann taking on submission-savvy Shayna Baszler.

Elsewhere on the card, Strikeforce veteran Liz Carmouche will be looking for her second straight win against fellow hard-hitting bantamweight Kaitlin Young, and the "Girl-Rilla" has been kind enough to update MMAmania.com of her progress in a series of exclusive video blogs.

The Marine Corps veteran is 6-2 overall with five finishes, and was able to rebound from back-to-back losses under the Strikeforce banner by putting the screws to Ashleigh Curry back in April. She'll have her hands full against Young, a fellow Invicta sophomore, who's won all six of her fights by way of (T)KO.
