A few days ago news broke via Zero Hora that the UFC would be returning to Brazil with the quickness. Rio de Janeiro (which hosted both UFC 134 & UFC 142) is again set to be the host city for what looks like it could be one of the biggest events in mma history.

It was also recently announced that Heavyweight champion Junior Dos Sanntos wont be defending his title at UFC 152. Nobody knows exactly why but it appears that he wants his next fight to be on home soil. Its either that or hold off the title fight til 154 in Nov on the same card as GSP or 155 in Dec.

Jose Aldo & Vitor Belfort both expect to return around this time, with opponents still to be determined. Big Nog was set to compete in July but wasnt yet fully healed but should also be ready to fight again in Oct.

With all these brazillian stars getting healthy around the same time I think the UFC should & will make the most of it by doing a 60,000-80,000 person stadium show. JDS v Cain 2, Aldo v Koch/Zombie, Belfort/Bisping, Nog/Nelson, Erick Silva & Charles Oliviera are also healthy young stars that would help fill out the main card.

Now I dont expect them to book all 4 fighters (JDS, Aldo, Nog, Belfort) but 3 of the 4 would be realistic & sensical as well as deliver enough star power to make it worthy of such a historical event. Altho, with the recent injury bug over the last yr they may want to book all 4 of said fights.
