One week from today (June 30, 2012), Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will stage an event that should prove to be the biggest of the entire year. The show, UFC 148: "Silva vs. Sonnen 2" will be headlined by the biggest rematch in company history, as Anderson Silva once again puts his middleweight title on the line against Chael Sonnen.

The two first met at UFC 117 in Aug. 2010, a bout that saw Sonnen dominate for four and a half rounds -- he broke the record for most strikes landed in a single fight -- before getting caught in a triangle choke and tapped out with just minutes remaining.

That performance has led many to believe if given the chance he could do it again. Except this time, actually finish the job.

I have already come out in support of "The Spider," not because I want him to win but because I honestly believe we're going to see an entirely new beast once the cage door closes and there's nowhere to run to, nowhere to hide. In fact, I've got Silva winning by some form of stoppage in the first round.

But that's me. What do you think, Maniacs? Does Silva defend his title once again and add to his already legendary career? Or does Sonnen pull off the upset and finally dethrone the pound-for-pound king?
