Countdown to UFC 147: "Silva vs. Franklin 2" went down last night (June 19, 2012) on FUEL TV to help promote the upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for June 23 at the Mineirinho arena in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

The network special gave mixed martial arts (MMA) fans a glimpse into the preparation and training camps of the fighters set to headline the show, featuring former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin stepping in on short notice to rematch Ultimate Fighter (TUF) "Brazil" coach Wanderlei Silva.
"Ace" defeated "The Axe Murderer" by close decision just over three years ago at UFC 99 in Germany.
UFC 147 will also feature the finals from the TUF: "Brazil" reality show in both the featherweight and middleweight divisions as well as a heavyweight showdown between Fabricio Werdum and Mike Russow.
