Who's ready for more UFC injury news?

This time, however, a fight might actually get more intriguing.

Luiz Cane was expecting to make his middleweight debut against Yushin Okami, but it looks like that will have to wait as "Baha" is out with an injury.

His replacement? A fellow Brazilian. None other than heel-hook specialist Rousimar Palhares. This news coming by way of within the last hour.

The addition of "Toquinho" should make for a very compelling 185 pound match-up on the upcoming UFC 150 card, which is set to take place later this summer (August 11, 2012) in Denver, Colorado and features a UFC lightweight title rematch between champion Benson Henderson and the man he dethroned, former champion Frankie Edgar.

Palhares is coming off a first round TKO at the hands of Alan Belcher this past May at UFC on Fox 3 in East Ruthorford, New Jersey. Belcher was able to avoid serious trouble against the leg-lock aficionado, enter "Toquinho's" guard and pound him out.

Could Okami do the same?

Okami himself is coming off two straight losses for the first time in his illustrious 33-fight MMA career. He lost a middleweight title shot to Anderson Silva at UFC 134 in Brazil and then followed it up by coming out very strong against Tim Boetch at UFC 144 in Japan only to be blitzed and knocked out in dramatic fashion by "The Barbarian" in the early portions of the third round.
