Later on this evening (Sat., June 16, 2012), Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will step back inside the ring to take on Andy Lee in a WBC middleweight championship showdown at 10 p.m. ET on HBO.
But before Chavez and Lee duke it out, HBO is replaying the controversial Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley WBO welterweight title bout that took place one week ago tonight. You remember the one.
"Pacman" battled with "Desert Storm" for 12 full rounds and 36 minutes of hard fought action, at the end of which most observers scored it for the Filipino fighting machine. However, the two most important people at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, C.J. Ross and Duane Ford, scored it for Bradley.
Down goes Pacquiao ... kind of.
Those of you who wish to relive that bout, in its entirety, may do so tonight before Chavez vs. Lee on HBO. If nothing else, it's a good chance to rewatch and score it again to see if you come up with a different outcome than the first time.
