Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight contender Michael Bisping is all patched up and ready to get on with his career after having knee surgery earlier today (June 14, 2012) to repair a torn meniscus.

"In and out like a solider," he tweeted.

"The Count" was booked to throw hands opposite Tim Boetsch at the UFC 149 pay-per-view (PPV) event next month in Calgary; however, "The Barbarian" will now welcome Hector Lombard to the Octagon thanks to an untimely injury to Brian Stann.

The same injury that turned the UFC on FOX 4 card on its head.

Not coincidentally, Bisping and Stann will both be on the shelf for just a couple of weeks, so don't be surprised to find them facing off later this year, considering their mutual interest in fighting one another.
