With just hours to go before Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) kicks off it Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 15 Live Finale, much of the talk surrounding tonight's (June 1, 2012) mixed martial arts (MMA) event has centered on crowning a new TUF champion in the lightweight division.
Something Jonathan Brookins knows a lot about.
The soft-spoken featherweight dropped back down to the 145-pound weight class after defeating Michael Johnson to win the season 12 championship and will return to the TUF franchise as part of its live finale, taking on jiu-jitsu wunderkind Charles Oliveira.
"Do Bronx" will try to do work after following Brookins to the lighter weight class.
Another pair of featherweights, Max Holloway vs. Pat Schilling, will try to get themselves into the discussion when they lock horns on the FX-televised main card from "The Pearl" at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
