Update: A reader has informed me that he is not a crazed homeless man looking for blood, rather a popular Brazilian comedian named Gil "Away" Brother, known for his comedy routines on MTV Brasil and "Hermes e Renato." See more of his slapstick humor right here.
Sonnen has done an admirable job of infuriating the entire country of Brazil, which may explain why UFC President Dana White was so eager to move his main event title fight against Anderson Silva from the hostile territory of Rio de Janeiro at UFC 147 to the bright lights and big city of Las Vegas at UFC 148.
Crazy Brazilian homeless man is not amused.
Both headliners were on the scene last week to make the announcement and Sonnen got a taste of what he'll be missing, after he was mobbed by aggressive reporters and zapped with an electric pen. The good news is, no ice picks were smuggled into the press conference for the upcoming Fourth of July Weekend pay-per-view (PPV) event and Sonnen lives to fight another day.
And that day is July 7.
More on that fight right here.
