Brock Lesnar UFC return possible? Dana White says 'maybe'

During last night's (Sat., May 26, 2012) UFC 146: "Dos Santos vs. Mir" pay-per-view (PPV) event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, there was one face in particular who stood out in the crowd during the heavyweight laden event.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar was seen seated cageside, which raised a lot of eyebrows seeing as Lesnar has since moved on to the "greener pastures" of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) after being knocked out by Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 back on Dec. 30, 2011.

During the UFC 146 post-fight press conference, the media demanded answers from UFC President Dana White regarding Lesnar's presence at the event. White was hesitant to reveal too much information, but when asked if Lesnar's appearance meant anything, White would only respond by saying, "maybe" with a coy smile.

And then the bombshell. The Octagon boss admitted a mixed martial arts (MMA) comeback could be in the cards.

It should be noted that Lesnar has signed a one-year deal with WWE through WrestleMania 29 next year, which is scheduled for April 7, 2013. However, current WWE storylines have Brock walking out on the company and suing over a contract dispute.

Until now, it's all been kayfabe (part of the story) but this casts a shadow of doubt over everything. Then again, it's no beyond WWE Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon to send Lesnar to the event to get some publicity for himself to spark interest in current storylines on Monday Night Raw.
