Stefan Struve Lavar Johnson
Taking a fight on short notice doesn't mean a whole lot when your punches register on the Richter scale.
That could explain why Strikeforce import and knockout specialist Lavar Johnson is as cool as the other side of the pillow as he fills in for the injured "Super Samoan," Mark Hunt.
His target? Dutch "Skyscraper" Stefan Struve.
They'll throw hands at the upcoming UFC 146 pay-per-view (PPV) event on Saturday night (May 26, 2012) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It's a "Big" turnaround for Johnson, who destroyed Pat Barry on the main card of the UFC on FOX 3 event earlier this month in New Jersey. Can he replicate that performance against Struve, who has a formidable ground game to compliment his stand-up?
