Jamie Varner is back in the UFC. Hopefully, he's brought this hot babe with him.

Who says you can't go home again?

Former World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) Lightweight Champion Jamie Varner is getting another shot inside the Octagon, filling in for an injured Evan Dunham against the dangerous stylings of Edson Barboza at UFC 146: "Dos Santos vs. Mir," scheduled for May 26, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The promotion announced the change in line-up late last night.

Varner's downward spiral began with a submission loss to Ben Henderson under the WEC banner in early 2010, capping off an abysmal 1-4-1 streak that cost him a spot on the Zuffa roster. Since then, "C-4" has been able to string together consecutive wins for the first time since 2008, including a finish over fellow UFC veteran Drew Fickett back in February.

But he's jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.

That's because Barboza has been electric from the word go, tearing through ten straight opponents without a defeat, including his unbelievable spinning wheel-kick knockout of Terry Etim that went down this past January at UFC 142 in Brazil.

The performance earned him "Knockout of the Night" honors in a landslide beating while handing him his third consecutive "fight night" bonus.

Anyone giving Varner, a former high school wrestler and collegiate boxer, a fighting chance?

UFC 146 will now feature a main event between Junior dos Santos vs. Frank Mir, while Cain Velasquez vs. Antonio Silva will serve as the co-featured fight of the night. Mark Hunt vs. Stefan Struve is also slated for primetime.
