Just one week away from showtime and yet another problem for the all heavyweight UFC 146 main card.
This time, the not so "Super Samoan" Mark Hunt has gone down with an injury and left Stefan Struve without an opponent for the pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for next Sat., May 26, 2012, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The void didn't last long, however, as Lavar Johnson quickly stepped up to the plate. Yes, that's the same Lavar Johnson who just knocked out Pat Barry on the main card of the UFC on Fox 3 event just this past May 5 in New Jersey.
He said he never hesitated to accept (via UFC.com):
"I heard last night there was a chance I could get this fight and I accepted right away. You don't get chances like this too much in life, so when you are lucky, you got to make the most of it. I took one week off after last fight [May 5] and then went back to the gym."
Because this is the 6,789th shake up to the UFC 146 event, the entire fight card is posted after the jump to get you up to speed on who is fighting who.
