Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight contender Dustin Poirier doesn't need a trip to the Ruth Chris steak house after he makes weight on Monday night for his upcoming UFC on FUEL TV 3 headliner opposite Chan Sung Jung.
He just needs the local Wal Mart.
That's where the "Diamond" will chow down on peanut butter ice cream sandwiches, which populate his dreams during a typical weight cut, as documented in the recently released Fightville movie starring Poirier in his rise to mixed martial arts (MMA) prominence.
In addition to staring at the Food Network, the 145-pound stalwart also chokes down "horrible" organic coconut butter and a few pieces of fish to get himself ready for the scale.
It's time to see if all his hard work pays off when he tries to bury the "Korean Zombie" this Tuesday night (May 15) from the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia.
If you haven't seen Fightville yet, put it atop your to-do list. You can read our full review right here. For more on UFC on FUEL TV 3 click here.
