Strikeforce heavyweight attraction and former PRIDE FC star Josh Barnett is featured in the latest installment of Showtime's "I am a Fighter" video series in advance of his upcoming bout against Daniel Cormier, which takes place on May 19, 2012 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California.
Barnett's road to the Strikeforce World Grand Prix Final began with a first round arm-triangle choke submission win over promotion castaway Brett Rogers, followed by an identical performance over Soviet slugger Sergei Kharitonov last September.
The win over the former Russian paratrooper pushed his record to 31-5 and "The Warmaster" is currently riding an eight-fight winning streak, dating back to his epic battle against Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at PRIDE "Shockwave 2006," his last appearance for the now-defunct mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion.
