UFC 145: "Jones vs. Evans" is all set to pop off tomorrow (Sat., April 21, 2012) from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, featuring a light heavyweight championship showdown pitting current titleholder Jon Jones against number one contender Rashad Evans.
Also on tap for the promotion's return to the dirty bird is a welterweight war that will see Rory MacDonald take on Che Mills, not to mention match-ups like Brendan Schaub vs. Ben Rothwell, Miguel Torres vs. Michael McDonald, and Mark Hominick vs. Eddie Yagin.
Before we can get to the good stuff, however, every one of the competitors on tomorrow's fight card had to hit the scales to make sure they weren't carrying any extra baggage.
Thankfully, only John Makdessi was heavy and he surrendered 20-percent of his purse to his opponent, Anthony Njokuani, to ensure that the fight goes on.
