A lot of fans are deriding Fedor's latest fight against Pedro Rizzo (although when I say 'fan', I mean ufc fan boys who don't know really know f--k all and think UFC is MMA) saying Rizzo is a can (although he really isn't) and that Fedor needs to come into the UFC to prove himself.
People need to understand that the UFC ship has sailed and gone, by that I mean there's no point for Fedor going into the UFC, even if he does, it won't matter. The fact is is that this is a Fedor passed his prime, and passed his peak, and if he did enter the UFC he probably would struggle, and not because he's sh!t, but because he's 35 approaching on 36 in September and has been through a lot of wars and as I said, is passed his prime.
If we were talking about the Fedor of 2003-2007 then that would make much more sense, but that Fedor is gone, and back in those days, Fedor WAS FIGHTING THE BEST HEAVYWEIGHTS IN PRIDE, even Dana admits the best HW were at Pride, and the UFC's division was SH!T (eat that UFC fan boys). It's not Fedor's fault that the UFC took so many years to finally have a legitimate well established heavyweight division.
So all this talk of Fedor in the UFC is pointless, while I do believe he'd be capable of winning in the UFC, it's still not the same Fedor of old, the monster, the beast, the Fedor who was hungry, and would be able to beat anybody's ass. As I said, Fedor is 35 going on 36 in September, the man's had dozens of fights, been through wars etc, the man's given all, and that eventually takes it's toll, the man is a human. But off course fan boys won't understand that.
