Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) today announced its Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 15 Live Finale, now official for June 1, 2012 at "The Pearl" in the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Featuring a five-round Welterweight main event between Jake Ellenberger vs. Martin Kampmann, the live finale will also crown a new TUF champion in the promotion's stacked 155-pound division. This season's coaches, Dominick Cruz vs. Urijah Faber, won't square off until UFC 148 on July 7, also in "Sin City."
UFC President Dana White comments via today's release:
"The welterweight division is stacked and Jake Ellenberger and Martin Kampmann are going to fight for the chance to earn a title shot. They will headline the season finale of TUF Live on FX to crown the next Ultimate Fighter. There's a lot at stake for the guys competing on this card at the Palms."
