Bloodbath in Columbus!
Mixed martial arts (MMA) fans wondering where the faucet was on Kazuo Misaki's face, after it started spewing blood during his three round slugfest opposite Paul Daley back on March 3 under the Strikeforce banner, may I direct your attention to the gaping hole above his left eye.
"The Hitman," who also had his nose pushed in thanks to a rock 'em-sock 'em three round unanimous decision win over "Semtex," earned himself a mandatory vacation following his welterweight brouhaha at the Nationwide Arena as part of the "Tate vs. Rousey" fight card.
Our own Brian Hemminger with the live play-by-play:
Misaki wades in but Daley changes levels and dumps him on his back but he's got to do something with it here. Daley is hanging out inside Misaki's guard and he throws a nice short elbow which cuts Misaki. Misaki is bleeding profusely here, this is bad. They might stop it but it's not directly above the eye so they let them go back at it.
