ONE FC 3 Preview: Tatsuya Kawajiri vs Donald Sanchez and Zorobabel Moreira vs Felipe Enomoto

Tatsuya Kawajiri is the best featherweight outside of the UFC and this is his chance to show the world just why. As a lightweight he was once ranked number one but always seemed to come up short at crucial times, losing to Shinya Aoki when he fought for the Dream title and Gilbert Melendez when he fought for the Strikeforce title.

At 145 lbs he is going to be much bigger and stronger in comparison to his opponents and could finally be ready to make the transition from being a top contender to actually becoming the best in the business. His opponent, Donald Sanchez, has been around for a while too mainly fighting for King of the Cage where he holds a bantamweight (145 lbs) belt.

Sanchez has 11 KO/TKO wins and 10 submission wins and is well rounded and tall for a featherweight whereas Kawajiri likes to beat up opponents on the ground and has faced a much higher calibre of opposition then the American. This is a fight between two of the better featherweights in the world but the chances are that Kawajiri is going to show just why so many people believe that he could one day be the best.

Zorobabel Moreira it going to be difficult for anyone to beat, he has world class BJJ and his Muay Thai is developing so fast that he can already be considered a dangerous striker. Felipe Enomoto is extremely durable, has no obvious weaknesses and is coming off a career defining win against Ole Laursen last month.

Moreira is well on his way to becoming a top mixed martial artist and has already been named as one of the best prospects in the lightweight division by (Leland Rolling's groundbreaking scouting report). All the hype has led to a main event slot in the biggest show in ONE FC history and the opportunity to showcase his skills on an enormous stage.

The event is being streamed free of charge on youtube and the time difference between Asia and the US means that the audience is likely to increase steadily and should peak at around the time Enomoto and Moreira step inside the cage meaning that millions of people could watch this fight.

It's difficult to pinpoint keys to victory for Enomoto because Moreira should have a clear advantage on the ground and utilizes his height to good effect on the feet. He found a way to win against Laursen with a perfectly timed head kick and will probably need to show the same sort of precision if he is to emerge victorious here.

Moreira has been beaten once before with a one punch knock out and if he makes the slightest mistake Enomoto is good enough to capitalize brutally. This is a fitting main event for a stacked card and the winner will be very close to the top of the ONE FC lightweight pile.
