Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) looks to have its second bout scheduled for the upcoming UFC 149 pay-per-view (PPV) event from the ScotiaBank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on July 21, 2012, according to a report from MMA Weekly.
Ultimate Fighter (TUF) Middleweights Court McGee and Nick Ring, who first threw down on the ex-Spike TV reality show (which Ring won via majority decision), will try to settle a rematch over two years in the making. Despite the initial win, Ring was forced to bow out of the competition due to a knee injury, which paved the way for "Crusher's" return.
McGee (14-2) went on to claim the TUF 11 crown and has gone 2-1 since defeating Kris McCray in the live finale. Ring (12-1) is also 2-1 over his last three, getting beat up by Tim Boetsch at the UFC 135 event late last year.
Which one of these TUF guys takes another step forward?
UFC 149 is expected to feature a main event that includes featherweight Champion Jose Aldo against a soon-to-be-announced opponent. Be sure to check out our complete UFC 149 event archive right here.
