Yes, dear Maniacs- it is indeed Part 5 again, and it is neither a typo nor have you been sucked into a time warp. What has happened is that Blackfly is now a full-page comic, and so the number of strips in the Angel Retributions has reduced by 50%.

You see, here at MotCorp, we are nothing if not customer-focused. All you thousands of Maniacs who cannot start your day without Blackfly- ye who name your sons Kyu and your daughters Julie- have cried out unto us, and we have heard your cry.

You lamented that you wanted more Blackfly per comic strip. Three panels was insufficient to sate your voracious appetite for Kyu and his large-bottomed paramours. I felt your pain, and mobilized resources on your behalf. As a result, from now on Blackfly will be a full-page, six-paneled comic strip. That is twice the Kyu for your buck (or it would be, if you cheapskates paid anything for it).

Unfortunately however, God has refused to double the number of hours in a day, meaning something has to give. As a result of the doubling in panelage therefore, Blackfly will now be published only twice weekly- on Mondays and Fridays. I still believe once a week is too infrequent to hold the attention of the notoriously flighty Internet audiences with their short attention spans.

This does create a problem though- it means I must now draw four strips a week instead of three. I honestly don't know if that workload is possible in the long-term (due to God's aforementioned rigidity in the allocation of daily hours). However, I've already drawn all the strips for The Angel Retributions in advance, so this new schedule won't be a problem at least until after this story ends. After that, we shall review the reader reception, operational burden and stats stats stats, and make a long-term decision.

So for now, consider this a pilot project. Please go back and re-read the whole story from the start, and see if it feels and flows better as a full-page comic. Your feedback and poll responses welcome.
