Tickets for Strikeforce: "Barnett vs. Cormier" which was recently made official for May 19, 2012, at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif., will go on sale to the general public on Fri., April 6, 2012, at 10 a.m. PT.

UFC Fight Club members and Strikeforce Newsletter subscribers, naturally, will be able to scoop up tickets prior to them being available for public consumption.

The Showtime-televised event will feature the conclusion of the heavyweight grand prix tournament, as Josh Barnett and Daniel Cormier collide for all the proverbial marbles.

No other bouts have been confirmed for the card at this time though Gilbert Melendez's next title defense is strongly rumored to take place at the event as well as a match-up pitting Nate Marquardt vs. Tyron Woodley for the vacant welterweight championship.

• Strikeforce Newsletter presale: Thurs., April 5, 2012, at 10 a.m.
• General tickets sale: Fri., April 6, 2012, at 10 a.m.

Strikeforce tickets can be purchased through StubHub.com (Note: StubHub often has seats available even if the event is "sold out"). It will also be available to watch on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET on fight night.
