Protect yourself at all times.
That's the painful lesson stemming from the fight shown above, which took place between frisky female flyweights Sheila Gaff and Jennifer Maia at the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship: "Fight Night 4" event back on March 16, 2012 in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai).
When Maia walked in with an arm outstretched for the customary "touch of gloves," which is traditionally a gesture of good sportsmanship prior to engaging, "The German Tank" met her with a flurry of punches that quickly led to a 10 second knockout.
All's fair in love and MMA.
So what do you think, Maniacs? This isn't the first time we've encountered this argument. Did Gaff pull a sleazy move inside the cage -- or a brilliant tactical maneuver that secured her the quick KO win? Does anyone think this type of offense, while perfectly legal, should be considered dishonorable?
