Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to pull the trigger on its upcoming annual Memorial Day weekend pay-per-view event, which emanates LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sat., May 26, 2012.
UFC 146 will be headlined by the biggest fight of the year (literally), when heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos puts his strap on the line for the very first time against division number one contender Frank Mir after famed Dutch striker Alistair Overeem was suspended for nine months for getting caught with a performance-enhancing substance in his system.
Also rounding out the all-heavyweight main card are super-sized match-ups between Frank Mir vs. Cain Velasquez, Stefan Struve vs. Mark Hunt, Roy Nelson vs. Antonio Silva and Shane Del Rosario vs. Gabriel Gonzaga.
