Thiago Tavares will be facing the UFC undefeated Tony Ferguson on next May 5th for the UFC on FOX 3. According to TATAME.com the fight was confirmed by Thiago's manager Alex Davis last thursday.
"It'll be a tough fight... Ferguson is a very good atlhete, it's a TUF champion, but Thiaguinho is living his best moment on his career and I believe he will win", said the manager, confident, reporting to TATAME.
Thiago will replace Dennis Hallman injuried and Alex believes that the brazilian do not step into the octagon for this fight as the underdog.
"Everybody can have your own opinion, but Thiago is a very skilled athlete, have faced good strikers, not only grapplers... In MMA everything can happens, but Thiago always overcome difficulties. I trust him".
