FINALLY!
Have no fear fellow Wyoming Maniacs' the great sport you dedicate countless hours to this blog you can now watch mixed martial arts live, legally.MMA wasn't illegal but without an official governing body a fighter's wins and losses within Wyoming did not count on their record.
Governor Matt Mead has put his 'John Hancock' onto Law House Bill 87 which sees fits that a regulatory body be formed with regards to MMA. The bill officially passed this past Thursday (March 8th) and was announced today. Wyoming also happens to be the smallest populous state with just over 570,000 residents.
The state of Wyoming has produced former UFC middleweight number one contender Nate Marquardt and UFC newbie Justin Salas.
We are down to three states left (New York, Connecticut and Vermont) that have an active athletic commission but do not allow MMA and Alaska which does not have an athletic commission.
You Maniac's pumped for a Cheyenne or Casper road trip for some live MMA?
