There's an intriguing lightweight match-up now set for the UFC on FUEL TV 3 fight card as Rafael dos Anjos will put his jits to the test against Kamal Shalorus on May 15, 2012, at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia.
The UFC brass brought word of the 155-pound scrap earlier today.
Dos Anjos has been hot and cold over the past two years, recently sandwiching a knockout loss over George Sotiropoulos at UFC 132 between losses to Clay Guida at UFC 117 and Gleison Tibau at UFC 139. He currently stands at 4-4 under the ZUFFA banner.
Shalorus is also trying to get back into the win column and may even be fighting for his job. His UFC debut was a technical knockout loss to Jim Miller in March 2011 and he followed that up by tapping out to Khabib Nurmagomedov earlier this year.
