Anderson Silva: Chael Sonnen needs to stop talking and start training

Now that Chael Sonnen has passed the last barrier separating him from his rematch against Anderson Silva, even if his victory over Michael Bisping at UFC on Fox 2 was uninspired, it's time for the hype to really get underway.
That means reporters get to once again ask the middleweight champion exactly how he feels about his arch nemesis. The result is as you'd expect:
"Chael talks too much. It's not working. ... Chael needs to train. No more talking, train. Go to Brazil. Big problem. Man, I don't like to talk too much about Chael. This is bad for the UFC, this is no good for the UFC, it's bad."
Never one to allow anyone to get the last word, Sonnen responded in kind:
"When I want your advice I'll beat it out of you, Stupid. Now go back to singing to hamburgers and telling Segal he's legit."
Note "Stupid" is capitalized. It's the small things, Maniacs.
Y'all ready for another few months of this? After the jump, Silva confirms that he will indeed return in June in Brazil. He even does the entire interview in English, a rarity for the Brazilian knockout king.

Have you seen that Anderson is back training? He was doing some goofy wrestling thing on here not long ago. Anderson looked soft around the middle though, dang. I think that is a pretty good indicator that he HASN’T been training much.

You can’t say the recent videos of him have shown that he is in the gym training diligently. Sonnen seems to be peaking now and looks like he doesn’t stop training. I am not denying Anderson Silva’s accomplishments, just it is funny that he says that Sonnen needs to go train more in his current appearance.

Well he didn't seem to go for the finish last time they fought.
He seemed to be a lot more aggressive with Bisping and Stann.
If he goes in there with the intention of finishing Anderson this time, the fight could be verrryyy interesting.

That in part could have been due to a respect or fear of Silva’s ground game. I hope you are right that he does work for the finish but I could also see him taking less risks. The guy is no dumbie. I would be surprised to see him fight any different than the last one.

He does not load up on punches because he wants to keep heavy hips, and punching with force involves moving your hips and shifting your weight. Chael doesn’t want to risk losing position. That is why Silva’s face still looked unblemished despite all the punches Chael was throwing.

Silva isn't Stann or Bisping...
You take Silva to the ground, and he’s got skills there…you put him on the cage and he has the muay thai pum and a great judo base…Sonnen has nothing to offer Anderson…he tried to smash his face in the first time and Anderson withstood it all…after the Stann fight I said to myself, damn, Chael is going to try to submit Anderson when they fight next…then I came to my senses and thought, but Stann is noooooooowhere near Anderson’s level…not even close

you know I didnt even think about an outdated browser but that was the cause
I am so anti-updates after I updated to an OTA update that was rolled out on mobile as soon as it came out which was laden with bugs that rendered some of the sevices I used most useless. I wasnt happy to say the least it took like 2 months for manufacter to send out an update for the update with corrective measures. I learned never accept an update immediatelly wait about six months or so and read reviews before hand. thank you

He had Anderson on his back for 4.5 rounds, pounding away and still couldn’t finish him…and it’s not like he got caught with a punch…he got caught with a triangle…I’ve never heard of a lucky triangle

Before that fight, Travis Lutter was the only person to take a round from him. It’s a fact that anderson silva was hurt bruised ribs, it’s a fact that chael sonnen had higher than normal testosterone levels. It’s a fact That It really showed that With out testosterone treatment sonnens performance its nowhere near any of the other ones. So what you wanna say now. No one is unbeatable. Silva is 37 friggin years old, 3 years older than Fedor. His house of cards can fall at any time. That said, I don’t think Sonnen will be the one to beat him. He is just not a dangerous fighter, does not hit hard, has never had a finish in the UFC, is just over .500 in his UFC career and is vulnerable to subs. Not a good combo to beat Silva.

Stan is nowhere near the skill set of michael bisping. Chael dominated stann I’m not denying that. But brian stann skill wise what is ready to compete with chael at that point of his career. If u study chael he only has 2 skills he’s good at. Grappling and control on the ground. Striking? I don’t think so. Jujitsu? I don’t think so. Sub defense? Horrible. He will never be a champion. Just like rampage. Rampage is capable of doing much more than he shows. But his last few fights has been 1 objective. Looking for a ko with only using his hands
