- Wrestling
- Striking
- Cardio
- Strength
And what exactly is his strong points?? He’s got a good chin and pretty good Jiu-Jitsu, but in a weight division with JJ monsters like Palhares and Maia I don’t see how far he can ever go. Honestly I wouldn’t say this about many fighters but he deserves to be cut.

Mayhem deserves another shot
But unless the UFC isn’t returning his calls or something, he should do his own dirty work. I cut him a slight amount of slack since it seemed like he was just too fired up and gassed himself out (it’s not like he has a history of looking THAT bad), but his performance just plain didn’t warrant any great demand to see him again.
He would be a good addition to Fuel or FX card.
He has some name recognition because of Bully Beatdown with casual fans. So it might help draw some viewers to free TV.

Mayhem was out for 15 months. It’s not hard to believe that ring rust was a factor, even if it was a small part. I think he deserves at least a second chance.

Yes, Mayhem looked bad in his last fight, but something was definitely off. I saw an interview where he mentioned there were things affecting his performance/camp issues leading up to the fight, but he was not going to discuss them and the Bisping won, plain and simple.
He’s good enough to get at least 1 more. I’d like to see him fight Maia,
