Upstart mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion, Super Fight League (SFL), is bolstering up its roster, announcing the recent signings of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) castoffs Todd Duffee, Trevor Prangley and Paul Kelly, according to Sherdog.com.
No opponents or dates for their promotional debuts are known at this time.
Duffee, who was at one time considered one of the UFC's brightest heavyweight prospects, has dropped two in a row and was last seen falling victim to the heavy hands of Alistair Overeem at Dynamite!! 2010 back in Dec. 2010 in a matter of 19 seconds of the first round. Prior to the loss to the "Demolition Man," he was knocked out by Mike Russow after dominating the majority of the fight at UFC 114.
Prangley, meanwhile, has dropped three straight with his most recent coming at the hands of Hector Lombard at Bellator 58 four months ago, while Kelly was cut from the UFC after getting choked out by Donald Cerrone at UFC 126 more than one year ago.
Coming off of devastating losses in their last outings, and having seen better days, each competitor hopes to get a fresh start and right their ship with the India-based promotion.
