i don’t think barboza comes close to him. i think barboza lost to pearson and as far as i remember i thought etim was winning until he lost his ability to stay awake. only thing that worries me is if it goes to a decision the trend tends to be barboza gets the fluke and dunham gets screwed
think the card looks pretty stellar. i’m even looking forward to the hardy fight. gonna love to see bang lay him flat on his back.

Barboza hasn’t fought anyone as good as Dunham in the UFC yet and I don’t think he’s even had his ground game tested. I like Dunham to win bu Sub or UD.

Although I can’t make any promises on the situation. Maynard beats Guida if he was NUT hunting as far as I see it. Guida’s got those guys that he has proved he just cannot overcome and Maynard in my opinion is the toughest one.

I’m playing a higher value on ELITE heavyweights. With JDS/Overeem, Mir/Cain and Nelson/Big Foot, you’ve got 6 of the top 10 HW’s in the world. Well, you can argue about Nelson and Big Foot being top 10 HW’s, but certainly top 15. Regarless, when’s the last time you had this top guys of the same division on a single card? The UFC is basically doing a HW tournament on this card.
Not that great – and you haven’t factored in that this card will look different come fight night. C’Mon man, it’s March, never get pumped 2 months out from fight night

As I watched UFC 145 i was fully erect. Then, journeyman Brown butt raped my lover Wonderboy. As the hype train imploded i grew sad, but makdessi was up soon. And then it happened. Anthony’s Muay Thai completely picked apart fatty makdessi’s karate and i went limp. I now know how terrible a base karate is and id like to thank the pride for educating me. i leave myself to oilcheck’s mercy.

And for those who say that Overeem is slow….wow. I don’t think he moves that badly for the biggest and most jacked dude in the company. His “slow” fighting has got him pretty far……He’ll be just slow enough to not only get a UFC HW title shot, but the title as well.
The problem with Overeem is not that he is slow...
The main problem with Overeem is he has a questionable chin, and he does not react well when he gets hit with a good punch. He is not as bad as his older brother, but he is not far off. Every time Overeem gets hit he turtles up. This is not K1 or Boxing. Is just seems like a horrible match up. Putting a guy that has a suspect chin and reacts funny when he gets punch vs a guy that is knocking out almost everyone.

well it kind of make sense cause the winners of the bouts line up to fight eachother ..example winner of big country/big foot take on winner of shane/gonzaga .. winner of mir/cain take on winner of jds/reem… and same with the losers .. wouldnt shock me to see the losers match up with eachother ..

yeah good idea for nelson to fight the likes of browne, hunt or gonzaga, they will reshuffle some more this card could still be quite good but was looking forward to seeing how overeem was gona deal with juniors bricks in his hands, dont know how the hell mirs gona deal with it but well see i i guess..

I was hoping 2 see hunt. Idc if he don’t deserve I don’t think any1 deserves it rite now. Or even Cain w/ a different gameplan like going for a TD =D. I’m not a Mir hater I like him think he’s 1 of the best in the division. But this is a horrible fight for him. Big nog had him in sum BAD shape his last fight I just see it going way worse for him against jds. Hunt @ least has an iron & top notch striking 2 put up a real fight.

Wow this card went down hill fast.
A shame I was really looking forward to this the first card i was excited about in a long time. 145 was banking on the main event the rest of the fights didn’t have any big names. Now over the last few weeks Overreem,Dunham, Gonzaga out and replaced by Mir, Dave Herman and Jamie Varner? that sucks.

if the fight goes to the ground struve has a pretty good ground against a guy like lavar but struve dont use his reach at all and he backs up with paws out so he is probally catching some on the chin and i think lavar wins brutally

i was gonna order this fight online but im not sure which to chose from.theres UFC.TV ,YAHOO SPORTS, YOUTUBE AND USTREAM i know its a silly ? but i dont know which of these plays the smothest so thanks if you can help
