UFC 146: Jason Miller vs CB Dollaway reportedly booked for May 26 in Las Vegas
Twitter strikes again.
Jason Miller recently asked mixed martial arts (MMA) fans to bombard UFC President Dana White with requests to give "Mayhem" another fight inside the Octagon despite the pathetic performance he turned in against Michael Bisping at the Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 14 Finale back on Dec. 3, 2011, in Las Vegas.
Apparently, it worked. That's because MMAWeekly.com brings word that Miller has been booked to square off against C.B. Dollaway at UFC 146 on May 26, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada, in a middleweight contest that will likely see the loser leaving town, pink slip in hand.
On his Twitter account, Miller is already vowing to show up a changed man:
"I won't gas. CARDIO. CARDIO. TIME TO TRAIN HARD. MEDITATE. ZEN. ... I won't let you down. #whateverittakes"
The good news is Miller was given his second chance. The bad news is the match-up isn't a favorable one.
Dollaway, of course, is the NCAA Division I wrestler with the ability to drag Miller to the mat and keep him there for 15 minutes. He'll have to dodge a few submission attempts, surely, but seeing as he's lost two fights in a row and his job is likely on the line here, don't be surprised to see him go back to his bread and butter.
Being exciting is one thing, remaining gainfully employed another.
Either way, both men are teetering on the brink and shall be quite fun to see who it is that fails to tip toe the line and goes flying off the edge into the dark abyss consisting of MMA outside the UFC.
Stay tuned!
UFC 146 is the promotion's annual Memorial Day weekend event scheduled for May 26, 2012, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The only bout booked for the card at this time is the event headliner, as Junior dos Santos is expected to defend his heavyweight title for the very first time against Alistair Overeem.
As always, stay tuned to MMAmania.com for future updates to this still-developing fight card.

fuck me
the 2 douchiest faces in mma against each other

I can't stand Dollaway
But I can’t stand Miller either. Dollaway will win this (or if he loses, it will be via sub).

Agreed
I follow him on twitter and the douche just reeks through. I try to like the guy but you can see he’s basically a dink.
Even tho I initially acted like a small child, I have been forced to come to my senses. enzo-enormous is better at calling fights than I am, by far. I am a little immature but am working on it. Also, I love dudes and cant wait to get a reach around from the 209
I don't think
He can control his craziness, like his most recent visit on the JRE podcast he yells continuously even when Rogan tells him to calm down. He’s literally mayhem lol.. Or a crazy case of ADHD
You just now realized mayhems add?

Really you think CB sucks? Every time I watch him fight, I am very impressed with his skill set. It’s every adapting.
He came in as a wrestler, his submissions acumen grew, and his striking started coming together. I’ve always though CB would be one of the MW’s to stand out.
Sure his submission defense is spotty, but the guy got skills. I don’t know why he keeps losing, I think he will put it all together eventually though.
CB is actually one of my favorite guys to watch fight
I love how well he incorporated chokes into his wrestling, his only weakness is his chin imo

I love Miller
He’s a funny guy, and a pretty good coach from what we saw on TUF, I just don’t know if he’ll remain relevant within MMA. I hope he proves me wrong though.
meh
i like how he was coaching on tuf..he is a bit of a wiener..but i was saddened by his fight with bisping..i wanted him to impress me
but yes..both fighters have a tad of douche to there personality..hope for an exciting fight at the least
Sarah,
you know we all love you, but just like Nick Diaz, the rules apply to you as well. Here is your sig.

Why can't C.B Dollaway close his lips?
They’re always open for some odd reason.

I think nerves got the best of him last fight (besides bisbing beating that ass)
normally when he fights he is super energetic and doesn’t look nervous at all. I think he had an adrenaline dump his last fight. Hopefully he can pull it together
I like Miller
Just hope his cardio can be back to normal
Miller didn't look great in his last fight, but he do well in round one.
They love to say Bisping looked great but Miller looked bad, why not make up their damn mind. And it’s sad that they actually didn’t want to give him a second chance and would rather live on his last fight and complain about it when they should have given him the chance to make up for it sooner.
Now, count up your crimes!
I hope he wins this
People don’t realize that mayhem had a long layoff.

Bad stylistic match up for Mayhem
No favors from Joe Silva or Dana. CB will threaten with the takedown time after time in this one

The cardio won't do anything for him during this match.

There is no way in hell that CB subs Mayhem.

It was one hell of a ride mayhem
……kind of…..
Miller gots this. He just has to not let go of his submissions no matter how many times phantom tapper phantom taps.
And also pull a Koscheck and milk any illegal knees Opie throws.

I’ve just received notice that Drew Fickett or you, I don’t care which one of you fuckers did it, has signed a contract to fight in Strikeforce this fucking weekend. this will be on the under card or maybe even the facebook prelims.....
in the UFC’s new and extremely boring, lameweight division.
Are you kidding me?
Miller rocked Bisping’s shit in the first round. Mayhem may not be that great against wrestlers, but what is this guy going to do? Sit on him? Mayhem needs to work on takedown defense and wrestling to go to the ground on his terms. Mayhem secured a rnc on Jake Shields who has never been submitted, and he was beating Trigg until he got up and unleashed the soccer kicks. Shields was an NCAA champion, and Bisping is #5 in the world, so this ought to be a breath of fresh air for him. Mayhem will sub his ass, no doubt. He could also work this guy over to get the decision, or he could take advantage of kickboxing lessons from Siyar the Great and win the TKO. Who knows? Mayhem will win this, thank god. WAR MAYHEM!!!!!!
Wow
C.B. Can’t sub Mayhem, he can’t KO Mayhem, he can only lay and pray. Mayhem will catch him with an armbar or triangle from the bottom
