Props: Elitex10x

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight number one contender Chael Sonnen, who was just a few short minutes away from defeating Anderson Silva at UFC 117 back in August 2010, will have a chance to exorcize his submission demons in a championship rematch against "The Spider" later this year.

But was his first performance a fluke?

Hear what pro fighters Forrest Griffin, Michael Bisping, Cung Le, Dan Henderson, Randy Couture, Quinton Jackson, B.J. Penn and more have to say about his chances in the video predictions above, then let's hear yours in the comments section below.

Chael is going to run through Anderson.

No one in mma brings the fight like Chael does.

It says a lot about Chael

that some of these guys can’t pick a winner. In other words, 2 years ago they would have picked Anderson hands down……now, not so much.

by MyNameIs on Feb 14, 2012 12:08 PM EST reply actions

They were not asked to pick a winner.

Quite a few of those guys know chael and have trained with him. It says alot that they wont say chael will win this fight.

Wtf did Kongo say?

i think he was talking about himself

Who gives a fuck.

I wish the UFC had some kind of steroid policy. I know they ALL cheat, but this juice monkey shouldn’t get a rematch so soon after he was busted. He beat Brian Stann and barely squeezed out a win against Bsiping and that’s good enough? This one-nutted dickhead has it better than Brock did. I hope he dies in the cage.

Death may be going a bit too far, but not by much! He’s such a fn scumbag, in and out of the ring!

Those are dumb questions. i don`t see why the people think that its so dangerous there for Sonnen or anyone that fights Brazilian fighter. Its just a sport, a competition. The first time that UFC wes there Nedkov won agains Cane and he provoked the s..t out of those people and all they did was booing him. yes Sonnen isn`t Nedkov and Cane isn`t Anderson but he was right there in there face and they didn`t do s..t.(plus Cane was the only Brazilian that lost that night) that makes it a bit more sour for them. And the Brazilians are not stupid they wouldnt do anything stupid that would piss Dana off and risk not having another UFC there

by JuniorD on Feb 14, 2012 12:35 PM EST reply actions

Are you stupid? The things that chael said about brazil is almost equivalent to a redneck calling a black person NIGGER. NOT QUITE BUT CLOSE. Hell yea he should be worried in brazil. Just because dana white Says sonnen will be okay in brazil means absolutely nothing. There are some crazy ass brazilians who is really offended by sonnens comments and could care less about with dana white says. Dana white is not god he’s a powerful individual. But not powerful enough To humble Some really angry brazilians

by nathaniel gray II on Feb 14, 2012 1:49 PM EST via mobile up reply actions

we would all see. no one would touch sonnen in Brazil

I saw an old interview w/ Dan Henderson when he was the pride champ right before fighting against Vitor

Basically said the way to beat silva was to take him down and lay down shots, Chael did that great last time however I dont know if Chael will be up for the challenge or try to clinch and dirty box since he is pretty strong against the greatest p4p fighter ever.

Rampage's part was great

Why I gotta have an exit strategy because I beat a Brazilian in Brazil, I don’t care, I’ll just the muthafuckin arena.

Lame Fight, Anderson wins

In the past few years I’ve become somewhat of a Chael Sonnen fan actually. But c’mon.

Anderson was battling pretty serious injury in the first match with his damaged rib. Anderson still won that fight. Now, they will be in Brazil and Silva will likely be injury free AND motivated like never before. Chael put up a good fight the first time, and he’s talked a lot of shit, so Anderson will be looking to kill.

And think about it, what is the more likely scenario? Sonnen suddenly learns submission defense or Anderson nullifys Chaels attack? Easy pick. Not only that, Chael doesn’t have the steroids around to help him out this time.

Everything indicated a Sonnen loss.

I WILL SAY THIS AGAIN

When anderson silva Destroys chael sonnen I don’t wanna hear anything from sonnen fans. I don’t wanna hear" he lost because the fight was in brazil" or any excuses on why he lost AGAIN. I think this is a fair statement. Because wait anderson silva wins There really is nothing else to be said regarding sonnen and silva

are you trying to say that Chael will win this fight?

You are like the guys in this vid, none of them say "chael is going to win/finish/destroy him… they all know is Anderson they are talking about.. so they say..ohhh, chael’s go the tools to/if he sticks to his game plan blah blah blah lol
Silva is going to finish this fight in the first 3 rounds

Unlike some people I won’t say nothing if he loses.

Silva beats him anywhere

But, he will destroy him in Brazil

by TheChrish on Feb 14, 2012 3:58 PM EST up reply actions

I love the sheer delusion that Silva fans continue to hold on to, it’s going to make Sonnen’s domination and victory over him in the rematch even sweeter. Sonnen is Silva’s kryptonite, you can bring up any excuse and justification you want but the same thing will happen in Brazil only it will end with Sonnen winning all 25 minutes and not 23.

"I don't walk around looking at cameras telling people that I am the best fighter in the world to hear myself talk. I say it for the same reason they put warnings on packages of cigarettes, because fighting Chael Sonnen may be hazardous to one's health."-Chael P. Sonnen

I love...

how Chael fans openly admit it will take him all 5 rounds to squeak out a decision, mind you, while taking more damage from the top. All Fael fans can get chucked.
