UFC welterweight grinder Mike Pierce will square off against former 170-pound number one contender Josh Koscheck on the main card of the UFC 143: "Diaz vs. Condit" pay-per-view (PPV) event this Saturday night (Feb. 4, 2012) at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
So, what's the scouting report on "Kos?"
"He's the guy that everyone loves to hate in the welterweight division. He's like the Michael Bisping of the welterweights. Nobody likes that guy! Ya know, everybody has their thing. I'm not quite like that, I'm not gonna promote myself that way, everyone has their own style and for him that works, it's great, it's done well for him, but that's just not me. I'm gonna speak more inside the cage than out."

Bisping rules.
Don’t know why everyone hates him so much, but he makes a great MMA villain.
Difference between Bisping and every other MMA fighter who tries to come off as a bad guy is that Bisping makes guys eat their words. Gotta admire that English dominance.

This guys just trying to get some heat and remind everyone that they’re supposed to be rooting against Koscheck which favors him. Altho I can’t remember seeing him, his record reads like every time he steps up, he loses.

Not everybody hates Bisping, only people from the states does.
I actually like Bisping, and think he is at great fighter just look at his record. Most europeans love Bisping, and actually people from Brazil likes him too…….. he is just confident, not even cocky, Because cocky/arrogant is when your think that you are better then you really are. He said him self that he don’t believe he can beat A.Silva at the momont thats not cocky. He said that there was a good chance of him beating Sonnen, and some believe he did, so you can’t make the argument that he is Cocky or Arrogant about his fighting skills. He is 12-4 in the UFC and has beaten good fighters.

Kos is the most over-rated fighter
he beat yoshida, trigg, hazelett, a 50 yr old hughes, & had to fake knees to the head against both rumble & daley….the only top guys he ever fought are alves diego(maybe) & GSP. I mean he got stopped by Paulo thiago for cryin out loud. I got pierce by tko rd 1 or dec. His only topo fights in the ufc were to Fitch & Hendricks & he did as well as u can do in a loss against both those guys.
Final point, Kos is on the early stage of his downslide & Pierce is on the rise. 1st ellenberger ko’d shields, then hendrick ko’d fitch..Kos is up next

Never met the guy, used to always see his face on billboards when driving on the 5 but
I think that he has skills and he might be the happiest person to hear of GSP’s injury. I would bet that he is waiting to see what GSP looks like in his first fight back. Especially considering what GSP has done to him.
