UFC on FOX 5: "Henderson vs. Diaz" from the KeyArena in Seattle, Wash., is officially in the books after a very successful night (Dec. 8, 2012) of mainstream mixed martial arts (MMA) action.

The main event of the evening between Ben Henderson vs. Nate Diaz was a nice end to an impressive start to the card; however, it was certainly for very different reasons. It wasn't a definitive finish, but it was a very entertaining fight beginning to end.

"Smooth" did his thing, shucking submission and sticking it to the Stockton scrapper for 25 full minutes. Even with the fight basically won in the fifth round, Henderson continued to push the pace and fight as if he the scorecards were not in his favor.

Refreshing.

Anyway, as usual, all the stars of the show came to dish the dirt on the event immediately afterward at the post-fight press conference, including Ben Henderson, Nate Diaz, B.J. Penn, Rory MacDonald, Alexander Gustafsson and Mauricio Rua, among others. Surprisingly, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White -- who almost always emcees the post-fight event wrap up shows -- was not in attendance.
