Jim Miller earns a bloody unanimous decision victory over Joe Lauzon in the co-main event at UFC 155: "Dos Santos vs. Velasquez 2" last night (Sat., Dec. 29, 2012) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. For their thrilling war, the two were awarded $65,000 for "Fight of the Night" honors, one they totally deserved. Early in the bout, Miller looked as good as he ever has, taking the fight to Lauzon and opening up a monster gash that ultimately required 40 stitches to close. "J-Lau," never one to give up in a fight, came storming back with a few extremely close submission attempts, including a near buzzer beating knee bar that Miller later admitted was close to finish the job. Alas it was not to be and Miller is back on the track to top contender status.
