Mexican boxing great Juan Manuel Marquez delivered a performance for the ages on Dec. 8, 2012, against Manny Pacquiao, knocking the Filipino firebrand flat in the sixth round. UFCs most recognizable and accomplished superstar with Mexican roots, Cain Velasquez, now looks to duplicate the dominating performance against Junior dos Santos at UFC 155 this weekend.

"It's a great motivation. I definitely want to step up and deliver a great performance like Marquez did. We both were on a plane to Mexico City and we talked for a bit there."

-- Viva La Mexico! Juan Manuel Marquez shocked the boxing world a few weeks ago when he knocked out Manny Pacquiao cold in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, marking the fourth time the two pound-for-pound pugilists met inside the squared circle. None, however, we're even remotely as definitive or jaw-dropping. This weekend (Dec. 29, 2012), Cain Velasquez looks to follow in the footsteps of his countrymen in the same building, declaring at today's (Dec. 27, 2012) UFC 155 press conference that he is looking to avenge the first and only loss in his mixed martial arts (MMA) career to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight champion, Junior dos Santos. But does Velasquez -- much like his Mexican brethren Marquez -- have the punching power to shock the sports world and get some much-desired revenge? Or will "Cigano" make it two straight against Velasquez much like "Pacman" did against "Dinamita?" We're just a few days away from one of the most anticipated rematches in UFC history, Maniacs, so grab a Tecate (or Corona) and let your predictions be heard in the comments section below.
