The official weigh in event for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 16 Finale: "Nelson vs. Mitrione" took place today (Dec. 14, 2012) from "The Joint" inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

All fighters managed to hit their respective weights without incident.

TUF 16 Finale will be headlined by Heavyweight coach, Roy Nelson, taking on late replacement Matt Mitrione rather than opposing coach, Shane Carwin, because the "Engineer" was forced off the card with (another) injury. Welterweight finalists from the show, Mike Ricci and Colton Smith, will also sling leather for the season crown and a "six-figure" Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contract.
