Bellator Fighting Championships returns TONIGHT (Nov. 9, 2012) to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, with the two separate season seven tournament semifinal bouts and the return of former featherweight champion Joe Warren.
MMAmania.com will provide LIVE blow-by-blow, round-by-round coverage of Bellator 80 below, beginning with the MTV2 telecast at 8 p.m. ET. In addition, we'll deliver up-to-the-minute quick results of all the undercard action much earlier in the evening (beginning at 6:00 p.m.) as well as a live stream of all the action.
Headlining the main event of Bellator 80 will be a bantamweight contest pitting former champion Joe Warren against young gun Owen Evinger. Both men have been experiencing a rough couple fights and will be looking to get back on track, Warren in particular.
The co-feature of the evening will be a pair of tournament bouts as the Bellator season seven heavyweight and featherweight tournaments continue with the semifinals. A featherweight battle between grapplers Rad Martinez and Wagnney Fabiano should be fun while in heavyweight action, long-limbed Russian Alexander Volkov takes on Brazilian Vinicius Queiroz.
Lastly, the always exciting Brett Cooper will look to put on a barnburner against a very game Darryl Cobb in middleweight action.

135 lbs.: Joe Warren vs. Owen Evinger
Round one: Warren aggressively steps forward and looks for a takedown but doesn't get it. Warren shoots in again and grabs a body lock, dragging Evinger to the ground and landing in full guard. Warren grapevines Evingers legs and drops some punches, posturing up and lifting Evinger to his feet perhaps looking for a throw but Evinger just takes the top position. Big takedown from Warren and he lands in side control, passing to full mount. Warren is smothering Evinger here and he dives for an armbar but it's sloppy and Evinger escapes. Warren grabs a leg but Evinger takes top position and now he's in full mount. Warren turtles and gives up his back and Evinger tries to take his back but can't hang on and slips off. Warren again throws Evinger to the ground and lands in side control, dropping a big elbow. He finishes the round with a pair of shots on the ground. 10-9 Warren
Round two: Spinning back kick from Warren early and he lands another big kick on the inside. Warren closes the distance and slams Evinger to the canvas with authority. Warren latches on an arm triangle and he falls to his side but he can't finish it and instead passes to full mount. Evinger tries to turtle and scramble but Warren shuts him down. Warren is grinding away from top position and the crowd starts to get restless. Warren gives up mount as Evinger retains half guard. Big knee to the side from Warren and then another. Warren rides out the round on top. 10-9 Warren
Round three: Spinning back elbow from Warren and he shoots in for a takedown, nearly falling off balance and securing a body lock. Evinger throws a knee on the inside but Warren drives forward and puts him on the ground. Evinger turtles and Warren drops big hammer fists from behind which forces Evinger to roll to his back again. Warren passes to mount briefly but gives it up to half guard and drops a knee to the side. Warren passes to side control and throws a knee to the side. Warren again passes to mount briefly but Evinger hip escapes to half guard. Warren rides out the round until time expires. 10-9 Warren
Final Result: Joe Warren defeats Owen Evinger via unanimous decision (30-27 x3)

265 lbs.: Vinicius Queiroz vs. Alexander Volkov
Round one: Both men standing early and Queiroz misses with a huge overhand right. Straight left from Queiroz and Volkov responds with a huge combination which backs Queiroz off. Queiroz shoots in and takes Volkov down with ease but Volkov has him locked down defensively, forcing a stand-up. Nice right hand scores for Volkov and both men trade big strikes as Queiroz lands a big right hand. Volkov steps forward with a flurry, landing straight punches down the middle. Head kick from Volkov is blocked but a push kick lands. Another kick from Volkov and Queiroz shoots in for another takedown, but Volkov is shutting him down defensively again. A couple big shots from Queiroz on the ground and Volkov fires back with weak shots from bottom. They end the round on the ground, but Queiroz didn't accomplish much there. 10-9 Volkov
Round two: Nice left jab from Volkov and he's staying on the edge as Queiroz can't land his power shots because he's too far away. Big combination from Volkov and Queiroz shoots in but can't get a takedown. Body kick from Volkov connects and he follows up with a 1-2 which scores. Good right hand from Volkov and Queiroz tries to fire back but he's coming up short with everything. Big right hand lands for Volkov and they trade right hands. Big combination from Volkov wobbles Queiroz. Another big shot and Queiroz drops to his back. Volkov throws a couple strikes but he backs off. Queiroz gets to his feet and Volkov turns it on but Queiroz takes him down. Almost immediate stand-up by the referee and Volkov unloads with a combination. Queiroz is bleeding badly now and Volkov throws massive shots, blasing Queiroz with a flurry and Queiroz slumps to the ground as the fight is stopped with a second remaining in the round.
Final Result: Alexander Volkov defeats Vinicius Queiroz via knockout at 4:59 of round two

145 lbs.: Wagnney Fabiano vs. Rad Martinez
Round one: Martinez has control of the cage center early and throws a soft leg kick. Swift combination from Martinez and he steps in with a big left hand which knocks Fabiano off balance. Nice punches from Martinez but Fabiano changes levels and takes Martinez down, landing in side control. Martinez turtles and attempts a signle leg and pops back to his feet. Nice uppercut from Martinez and Fabiano fires back with a heavy right hand. Head kick from Fabiano just misses and Martinez presses forward with power. Fabiano shoots in from the outside and gets stuffed, but he takes inside position along the fence. Martinez reverses the position and fires a knee. Martinez backs off and unloads a flurry of strikes and then a left hand to the body. Nice left hand from Martinez and Fabiano shoots in from distance and gets stuffed again. Martinez again reverses the position but backs off and resets. Head kick from Fabiano misses and both men land some solid shots at the end of the round. 10-9 Martinez
Round two: Fabiano tries to work a jab early but Martinez backs him off with hooks and pressure. Heavy left hand from Martinez staggers Fabiano but he lets him recover. Fabiano initiates a clinch but Martinez takes inside position. Fabiano scores with some knees and they reset. Martinez mixing it up with shots to both the head and body. Fabiano tries to be more aggressive with his strikes but Martinez just takes advantage of the openings and scores with his punches. Big takedown attempt from the outside by Fabiano is easily stuffed by Martinez. Nice combination from Martinez and he caps it off with a left hook to the body. Good right hand from Fabiano and he clinches but Martinez reverses him and fires off some knees on the inside as the round ends. 10-9 Martinez
Round three: Martinez being active with his strikes and he shuts down another takeodwn attempt from Fabiano. They clinch and Martinez fires off some knees on the inside and unloads a combination on the exit. Nice leg kick from Martinez and he's showing zero concern about Fabiano's striking. Big right hand scores for Fabiano and Martinez fires back. Combination from Fabiano and Martinez clinches, throwing knees and he drops down, potentially thinking about a takedown. Martinez backs off with a left hand and the clinch in the cage center. Combination from Martinez but it's blocked and he throws a leg kick. One minute left in the fight and Fabiano needs to do something drastic. Big right hand misses for Fabiano and Martinez throws a short combination. Left hook to the body and a big left hand from Martinez hurts Fabiano. Martinez swarms Fabiano in the final 10 seconds but Fabiano may have been saved by the bell there. 10-9 Martinez
Final Result: Rad Martinez defeats Wagnney Fabiano via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

185 lbs.: Brett Cooper vs. Darryl Cobb
Round one: Cooper is the aggressor early, as they clinch briefly. Heavy punches from Cooper and he changes levels, taking Cobb down with authority. Cooper throws some big bombs on the ground but he backs off and they reset. More big shots from Cooper and he scores a second takedown. This time, Cooper is very aggressive on the ground. Huge flurry of strike from Cooper and Cobb looks like the fight is leaving him. Cooper backs off with 10 seconds left but then dives in with a big punch at the end of the round. 10-9 Cooper
Round two: Cooper steps forward and throws some heavy punches. Cobb fires off a leg kick but Cooper lunged in with a heavy wide hook. Takedown from Cooper and he's comfortably on top in half guard but Cobb retains full guard. Cooper again unloads a huge flurry of strikes and the ref is thinking about stopping it but he can't keep up the pace. Cooper mixes in ground and pound for the final half of the round, alternating big blows to the head and to the body. 10-9 Cooper
Round three: The beginning of the round is pretty uneventful as Cooper again takes Cobb down and grinds away from top position for the first four minutes, occasionally swarming with ground and pound but primarily mixing it up with punches to the head and body. Cobb turtles and works his way back to his feet in the final minute and throws some desperation strikes but Cooper hangs tough, fires back and then closes the fight with one last takedown to put an exclamation point on the victory. 10-9 Cooper
