Go behind-the-scenes at UFC on FX 5 and UFC 153 with UFC President Dana White in his first video blog to promote UFC on FUEL TV 6: "Franklin vs. Le" this weekend (Nov. 10, 2012) in Macau, China.
Fight week, blog week!
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White has been slacking lately with his popular video blog series; however, he brought it back for UFC on FUEL TV 6: "Franklin vs. Le," which is scheduled to take place at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel in Macao, China, this Saturday morning (Nov. 10, 2012).
White begins the nine-minute clip quickly promoting the notable mixed martial arts (MMA) match ups on tap and then dishing to behind-the-scenes, never-before-scene footage of UFC on FX 5: "Browne vs. Bigfoot," which took place at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn., on Oct. 5, 2012, as well as UFC 153: "Silva vs. Bonnar" that was held at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Oct. 13, 2012.
Most of the video from Minnesota focuses on White handling the Jeremy Stephens arrest, telling veteran Yves Edwards that "he did everything" to free "Lil' Heathen" prior to their Lightweight bout, but wasn't able to get the questionable deal done.
While in Rio we watch an apologetic Phil Davis confront Wagner Prado and, of course, get a ringside seat for Anderson's Silva's spectacular finish of a steroid-using Stephan Bonnar in the main event of the evening. White marvels in-cage at the performance of the "Spider," calling him a "freak of nature" and "not human."
Naturally, he drops quite a few incredulous F-bombs in the process.
Enjoy.
