It is election day for those of us in the United States of America, and I would urge you all to get connected with your local community and go stand in line at the polls, talk to your neighbors about the issues and cast your ballot. While I don't subscribe to the notion that it is my civic duty, blah, blah, blah, I am old enough to understand the even though my one little drop in the bucket doesn't do much in the grand scheme of things, it is the only way to affect change as I am not ready or willing to take up arms against my fellow Americans ... at this time.
I have a problem with how this country is being run, and as an American, I have the ability to cast my lot in with likeminded people and vote for the candidate that I think will best change the course of American history. Doesn't matter who I believe is best, that is up to you, the individual, what matters is that I am willing to forgo my free time to get informed about what is happening in this country, and that says a lot considering I just got Netflix and Sons of Anarchy is the best fix I have had since I gave up hard drugs. ;)
I am not going into a rant about what I think is wrong in the U.S.A., you guys get enough of that from me as it is, what I will say is GO VOTE. If you don't, you have no right to bitch, you have no right to gripe, and maybe if you stay as apathetic as you are now, you won't have any rights at all.
Peace.
