World Series of Fighting (WSOF) kicked off its inaugural mixed martial arts (MMA) event last Saturday night (Nov. 3, 2012) at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, featuring a bevvy of longtime regional and International veterans strutting their stuff in "Sin City."

Ray Sefo and Co. garnered an average audience of 198,000 viewers for the two-hour telecast on NBC Sports Network, according to a report from MMA Weekly, for an event featuring knockout victories for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) vets Andrei Arlovski and Anthony Johnson.
By comparison, Bellator's last six events have averaged 172,200 viewers.
The event will also re-air on the NBC Sports Network today (Tues. Nov. 6) as well as on Tues., Nov. 13; and on Sunday, Nov. 18. Check your local listings for start times.
WSOF 2 is expected to return to Planet Hollywood in just over two months for its second offering, tentatively scheduled for Jan. 26, 2013, though the venue has yet to be made official at this time. Already booked for action is a 135-pound tilt pitting Marlon Moraes, fresh off his WSOF 1 victory over ex-WEC champ Miguel Torres, against top bantamweight prospect Tyson Nam.
