Perhaps Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA) will never have the star power of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) but that doesn't mean the mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion can't stage exciting events.
That's what it did last night (Fri., Nov. 2, 2012) at the Texas Station Gambling Hall and Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, with RFA 4: "Griffin vs. Escudero," featuring Tyson Griffin earning a unanimous decision victory over Efrain Escudero by outclassing the former Ultimate Fighter.
Elsewhere, Chidi Njokuani put his name in the headlines with an impressive third round technical knockout victory over Phil Dace. Sergio Pettis, younger brother of UFC lightweight contender Anthony, also picked up a win, defeating Jimmy Jones in his first televised fight.
It's a long way to the top.
