Watch the complete first episode of the UFC Primetime special that aired on FX last night (Nov. 2, 2012) in advance of the UFC 154: "St. Pierre vs. Condit" event set for Nov. 17 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, featuring an in depth look at both men.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has kicked its promotion for UFC 154: "St. Pierre vs. Condit" into high gear with the first episode of "Primetime" airing last night (Nov. 2) on the FX channel.

And it was a doozy.

That's probably because it featured an in depth look at Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre, who returns from a catastrophic injury that nearly ended his career. That's how it's presented in the video above, at least, with "Rush" going through something of an identity crisis after his body, always a well-oiled machine, failed him.

When he was routinely getting beat in practice by lesser fighters, it was full blown panic time.

But the long rehabilitation process eventually took and the French-Canadian slowly but surely regained the strength he once had. Now, he's feeling better than ever before, as sturdy as the dominant champion we saw the last time he graced the Octagon with his presence.

As for Carlos Condit, what's there to tell? He's a father now, so his life is drastically different but he's still the same old badass inside the cage, the blue collar hard worker who puts all the time in at the gym. One fight night rolls around, there are few who can hang with him and even less who can stop him.

But St. Pierre, even with the surgically repaired knee, isn't your run of the mill martial artist.

Stay tuned for episode two next week, Maniacs.
